Vida Farizhendi

Vida Farizhendi Registered physiotherapist

Vida graduated from Shahid Beheshti university in Tehran,Iran with a Bachelor of science in physiotherapy in 1993. She owned her clinic and health center in Tehran for few years prior to move to Canada.

She has worked in orthopedic hospital and private practices in musculoskeletal disorders and neurological cases in Tehran and Vancouver. She believes in continuing education and has completed several post graduate and Mckenzie courses. Vida is certified with (AFCI), the acupuncture foundation of Canada institute and does anatomical acupuncture combined with other treatments for her patients. In addition to acupuncture Vida does deep dry needling (IMS) which is effective for trigger points, chronic pain and reducing inflammation.
Her interests are hiking, swimming, aerobic, yoga and painting.

Roxana Pardis

Roxana Pardis Registered Acupuncturist &Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine by Education.

Roxana Pardis is a graduate of Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) program at ICTCM (International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine) and currently working as a registered acupuncturist in Harmony Clinic.

Coquitlam. Although coming from an engineering background, she has always been fascinated with the magic of human body and ways to achieve a balanced healthy life.

She believes that the way the human body is interconnected with the mind and soul in Chinese Medicine empowers the practitioner to help all individuals in their own personal journeys towards wellbeing and growth. Especially the way Chinese Medicine is based upon the energy mechanics of the body and mind, and how health is maintained through the unity and constant transformation of the two opposite life forces, yin and yang.

Her five year training in TCM included Western Medicine basics, such as Anatomy, Physiology, Internal Medicine, Pharmacology, as well as Chinese Medicine basics such as Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Chinese Internal Medicine, Chinese food cure, TuiNa (Chinese massage), Qi Gong and Tai Chi (Chinese martial arts),… and some advanced courses in TCM (e.g., TCM psychology and TCM gerontology). In addition to her formal program in ICTCMV, she has also completed other short programs which include Acupuncture Detoxification, under the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA), Infertility, and Cosmetic Acupuncture. The latter was provided by Marry Elizabeth Wakefield, one of the leading proponents of facial renewal techniques in the world today.

Sepehr Jahanshahi, BscPT, Registered physiotherapist

Sepehr graduated from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 2008 with an honour bachelor degree of Physiotherapy. He has been practicing in outpatient clinical setting since then with the focus on musculoskeletal injuries.

He attended in a 10 month program at the University of Toronto (2016-2017) to upgrade his physiotherapy knowledge and advancing his manual skills. In 2014 Sepehr got the certification in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and he has been treating his clients with acute and chronic pain disorders by applying this technique in conjunction with manual therapy and exercise based approaches. He also attended in post graduate courses of myofascial release, positional release and muscle energy techniques which are all effective adjunction to his manual treatment tools.

Sepehr likes sport and believe that having an active lifestyle is the main key to address most of the muscle and joint problems. His areas of interest are shoulder and hip injuries, sport injuries, neck pain and neck-related headaches.

Photography, listening to classical music and reading are some of the things that Sepehr likes to do in his spare time.

Mirhadi Entezari Bonab, Bsc.,MScPT Registered physiotherapist

Hadi obtained his Bachelor of Science in Physical therapy in 2004 and his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from TMU 2011. Since graduating in 2004, he has branched out into multiple facets of manual therapy. Hadi has a special interest in the treatment of orthopedic conditions of the spine, SI joint, knee and shoulder.

The bulk of his treatment approach lies in the use of manual therapy, which includes joint mobilization and Muscle energy techniques. An adjunct to his treatments include active individualized exercise program, myofascial release techniques, intramuscular stimulation (IMS) and all variable depending on patient’s needs.

Hadi enjoys treating injuries in a holistic way. This means he will look beyond a local injury and search for other possible mechanisms throughout the body as cause of injury.

Outside of his passion for physiotherapy, he enjoys playing soccer, staying fit, and exploring the world.

Clayton Giles

Lauren Pesarchuk Registered Massage Therapist

Lauren Pesarchuk RMT graduated from the 3000 hour program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2014. She uses a variety of therapeutic massage techniques including: swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, Ligamentous Articular Strain Technique, joint mobilizations, as well as stretching and therapeutic exercise. She also enjoys doing pregnancy massage and TMJ (jaw) massage.

Lauren is passionate about massage and she is committed to working with her clients to help them achieve a pain-free, balanced and healthy life. She is inspired by a strong desire to make a difference in the quality of her clients’ lives through increasing mobility and providing a sense of well being and health.

Outside of the treatment room, Lauren loves to spend time with her family out in the forest hiking. She also has a deep love for dancing, and environmental sustainability.

Zara Farizhendi

Zara Farizhendi Office Manager

Zara is our friendly face at the front desk, she is a great source of communications for the patients and therapists. She has a degree in Economics /Business from Iran and has studied Financial management program in BCIT.

She has several years of work experience in Office managing, Accounting, Sales and Human resources. She has been painting in oil and acrylic in her spare time for more than 10 years. She also enjoys bike riding, hiking, badminton, canoeing and kayaking.
